An award-winning Design firm is recruiting an experienced General Manager in Bangkok. This is a senior management role, crucial to the development and continued growth of the studio. It would suit someone who has previous experience in a similar capacity, leading a mid-sized team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee office operations, HR, quality implementation, and strategic management.
• Manage recruitment, selection, and retention processes.
• Direct and control office resources effectively.
• Coordinate project procurement requirements and vendor/supplier communication.
• Oversee payroll and expense preparation.
• Develop and implement HR and training strategies.
• Ensure legal compliance in all HR practices.
• Organize induction programs for new employees.
• Advise the CEO on industry developments and develop policies.
• Provide strategic reports and conduct management meetings.
• Develop and enforce health, safety, and statutory regulations.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• At least 10 years of experience at management level
• Previous experience in Design or Architecture industry
• Ability to work with different cultures and backgrounds
• Strong business sense
• Previous working experience in Asia
